Without more info on the search in question, there's really no way to assist.
Also, I strongly recommend using "Everything" (formerly Search Everything) as your default search app. It's free, it's fast, it's always right, and it's among the best available apps for Windows. I have installed on all of my systems as well as any system I've worked on: Downloads - voidtools

Troubleshoot Indexer. There is a (beta) app in Microsoft store "Indexer diagnostic". Not supported, but should give you a clue if there is anything wrong with indexing service
