Unlike Windows 10, I'm unable to search flash drives or Seagate drives. My ASUS recognizes the devices, but all searches result in 0, although the files are clearly on the drive.

Have you done a shut down restart recently ? Have you restarted explorer ? Was this since today's update ? Or maybe this Reset and Restore Default Folders for File Explorer Gallery in Windows 11

Yes, I tried ye olde Restart. No luck. These are Word files, not images.

To reindex Windows Search to include flash drives or Seagate external drives, go to Settings, select Privacy & security, then Search, and choose Indexing Options, or Add an excluded folder, From there you can modify the indexed locations to include your flash drives and any other external HDD's. The drives will need to have the same drive letter if removed and plugged back in using Disk Management.
