I just bought this Lenovo laptop and it won't let me install anything but Microsoft programs!

How do you get around this problem?

Ha! I never knew that this setting existed. But then again I’ve never had this problem.

I'm not a betting man, but I'd wager that "Winuser" has the answer (post 4).

Note that if you switch out of S mode, you can't go back again. (Not that I'd ever wish to.)
