I'm sure most folk will just use Google or another search engine as their Homepage on their chosen browser.

But I'm just wondering if anyone like me makes their own homepage? Instead of having lots of bookmarks, I choose to have most of my go to sites listed on my Homepage. I've tweaked it over the past 20 years and quite proud of my efforts.

If you have made your own Homepage, take a screenshot and let us see what it looks like. It might inspire me to do something different.

It all looks good, but there is some lag when loading such pages (maybe it's just me).
That's why I always use Blank Page.

I am using Firefox and in rare cases Edge.
In both my 'Home page' (I call it start page) is... blank.
Nothing on it, I always choose from my bookmarks what I want to see after starting the browser.
I already have that for at least 20 Years.
If a newly installed browser is presenting me new tabs with links that browser chooses for me, I search for a possibility to set new tabs to blank too.
No advertisements, no bullshit on new tabs!

I have a home page, K7MEM.com, that I developed over the last 20 years, but I don't use it for bookmarks. I mostly use it to develop my Symbol Library for making dynamic drawings. I also don't display any bookmarks in my browser.

However, I do have a local only page (written in HTML, CSS, and Javascript) that handles all of my bill pay and regular forum links. Other than that, I don't bother with bookmarks. If I do find a few places that I would like to save, I just export the tab information to a file. I use Chrome and have a extension that allows me to export bookmarks to a text file. Then I can decide what goes into my links page.

All of the entries on my links page, open in a new tab. However, when I just open a new tab, it opens to a Google search page. For me, that's usually the place I want to go anyway.

My head would explode. I pretty much have the same desktop as Edwin but I have filtered out anything google.
I have a toolbar and drop down menus for what you are achieving. But I am sure it is most helpful to you 🙏

No, but it's easy in Vivaldi settings. Simply, they are the favorites folders placed in the third row (Acceso rápido - Prensa-Radio-TV, etc.) and click on any one to make it the home page. For example, if I click on "Chess-Music" and get this page:

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.
