That PSU eventually needs to go, the gold-rated ones are better for especially a good build like that. But please don't get the MWE series (Cooler Master) PSUs, due to a severe reliability issue. Even an eVGA 650W gold should be good. Even though I would recommend a 700W+ gold-rated PSU. The eVGA Supernovas are the ones you should be eying for. Along with the SuperFlowers and Corsairs.

I had a Corsair gold-rated 1000w PSU coming, but it never arrived. So, I had to resort to using the old one. It's help up for 4 years so far. I'm hoping it's not approaching the end of life, though.

Darn it. So you had coming what would so well compliment the build! The problem with the white-rated and bronze-rated PSUs, likely are caps that don't last as long. A much higher chance of "capacitor plague"!

I am building a spare rig, so if this one dies, I can fire up the other and lose no work. I'll then insert the new PSU into my main rig after actually getting one.

Yep, I have spares alright! If my Ryzens end up being unreliable, I have a Comet Lake setup, with a Z490 motherboard and a Core i5 10600K.
I started getting nervous since May 18th, because I suddenly got my first 11 BSOD that is pointing to RAM corruption 99 percent. I had to take out RAM and run a 16 GB kit.

Wouldn't you know it - the PSU arrived today. I'm returning it as I don't have time to break down my system and install it. Too much going on. I can always order another when the time comes.
