2017 Honda Civic LX-P. Only has 20,000 miles on it.

Every time I take it to a dealership for one thing or another I get a couple salesmen coming up to me asking if I would be interested in selling it. They say they can give me a very good price on it with the low milage on it. Got new tires on it a couple months back (still had the original dealer tires on it) & had the manager ask if I wanted to sell it.

Wife has a 2018 Ford Fiesta with 28.000 miles. It gets a Spring & Fall oil change. We replaced the tires this year due to cracking on the sidewalls from sitting in the sun. Also replaced the battery this year which was still okay, but 8 years is a lot for a car battery.

And this is what I can afford:

(Informational blurb)

Top picture is a Lamborghini Hurracán SVO LP (drool)

Bottom picture is a Nissan 370Z. This is not my car as I don't have any pictures of it, but mine is just like this one. Not as fast as the Hurracán but about $500,000 cheaper. ;-)

I really gotta win the lottery.

But the guys would never leave me alone. "Hey baby. Can I drive your car?"
Just out of curiosity, I looked up the maintenance costs for a Lambo. I guess if you're rich enough to get one you can afford the costs, but still :eek1:

Maintenance Item Cost

Insurance - The average cost to insure a Lamborghini generally ranges from $5,000 to $8,000 per year, which translates to roughly $450 to $700 per month.

Annual Service (Oil & Filters) $850 – $2,000 Required every 12 months or 9,000–10,000 miles. Dealerships charge more ($1,500+) than independent exotic shops.

Intermediate Service $1,500 – $3,799 Every 2 years. Includes brake fluid flushes, coolant flushes, and deeper diagnostic checks.

Major Mileage Milestones $3,500 – $6,000+ Every 4 to 5 years. Involves replacing spark plugs, transmission fluids, and accessory belts.

Tires (Full Set) $2,000 – $5,000 High-performance tires (like Pirelli P Zeros) wear quickly and typically last only 10,000 to 15,000 miles.

Brakes (Steel) $1,500 – $3,000 For standard brake pads and rotors.

Brakes (Carbon-Ceramic) $10,000 – $15,000+ Last much longer than steel brakes, but are incredibly expensive when a full replacement is due.

Oh Yeah, add this to the costs....

Yep, you'd need a big lottery win to afford that.

Aside from the high valuation of the car, insurers look heavily at specialized repair costs. A minor dent or scratch on a Lamborghini can easily exceed $15,000 to repair because it requires exotic paint matching and replacing structural carbon fiber components rather than pulling out simple metal dents.
