8 beta's came out last year but, they're all buggy, except for v1.3.262

Summary of this post:-

Q: how do I fix minor issue with this app?

A1 - sorry, can't - just live with it.

A2: Nuke it from on high and use a completely different tool that has tonnes of features you will never use.

The issue annoys me too but it is not important enough to do anything.

Apart from imaging tools, I try and avoid 3rd party free tools unless I use them a lot like easybcd.

I have found a sort of solution.

If you right click on snipping tool icon (pinned to taskbar) and select "take a new screenshot", it works ok.
OK not perfect but a damned sight less irritating.
