Some icons in Task bar have lost the appropriate picture

Hi OAT. I knew that!! But my memory didn't. Did that and it only lists some of my 13 icons for the taskbar! The directory Tombstones, whatever that is, is empty. Do I add programmes here?

Shortcut of programs, not the program executables.
A restart of Explorer is needed for the changes to stick.

Was File Explorer restarted as posted or did you log out/in?

Update.
Got the Files icon back by reinstalling Files.

Then found DISM Restorehealth couldn't find the source files, so had to do a repair installation of Wi 11 from iso and the Settings icon is now back!

Edit 5 June 2025 And the bloody things have gone again! Different icons this time - Google Photos and Scan
Apps Repair got Scan back

In Settings/Apps, try to repair or Reset the app.
Then sign out and back in to see if it' any better.
