some setups for photo viewing

ok guys i asked this maybe a year or 2 ago about forcing the folders page to open in large view and descending order and at the time i appeared that was not an option. but maybe by now there is a setting that will let me default when i plug in my phone and go to dcim and camera that it will default to large photo and last photos taken to show on top.

When you connect a phone to a PC via USB, Windows treats it as a temporary virtual device using Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) rather than assigning it a permanent hard drive letter. Because of this temporary namespace, Windows records your preferred folder layout inside a volatile registry cache known as ShellBags. This cache acts as a short-term memory that holds onto your "Large Icons by Date" preference under a "phantom device" rule, allowing the settings to survive if you briefly unplug and reconnect the cable. However, because this virtual memory path is ranked as low priority, Windows will completely flush the ShellBag cache and reset your phone's folder back to the default tiles view the exact moment you reboot or shut down the computer, or if you browse through a high volume of other local folders on your PC while the phone is disconnected.
