Every so often, my mouse will freeze, and my computer will automatic pop this up, and it'll do it several times. I've scanned for viruses. Nothing. . Updated drivers, rebooted, etc. Of course, if I have multiple screens open, they'll be on that as well. WTF is going on? It is definitely the mouse. . I'll unplug it or turn it off, nothing. . Plug it back in, and it happens constantly.

Update: After changing out Mice, and using a different USB receiver, and using the logitech unifying software, so far, so good. Hopefully it stays going good.

Weird things are still happening. Not sure what's going on. Even switched mice, and weird crap still happening. cursor skips around, cursor click/double clicks when I don't even press the mouse button. . Just weird.

That is the Alt+Tab screen (or Ctrl+Alt+Tab) usually only available from your keyboard. This is not normally a mouse function, but can be assigned as such with something like AutoHotkey. Do you use that?

I just even tried doing a System Restore, and my PC is still acting weird. I'm wondering if it's MS Edge, honestly.

That screen doesn't even come up anymore now. . It's other crap going on. . . I never thought I would say this, but I'm seriously considering going back to Windows 10 for a while. Unless it's something to do with Edge. I need to try and use Chrome for a bit and see if I get the same results.

Another stupid irritation. When I have tabs going, especially live stream/video going, Edge will refresh, and i'll have to restart the video all over again. . . . .. . This is getting ridiculous!

Well, something is mimicking pressing Ctrl+Alt+Tab. Press that combo on your keyboard and you'll see what I mean.
If something is mimicking alt tab, could it be a hot key on the computer that triggers this? Accidentally pressed or stuck. Or a virus?

I would think it would be resolved by a refresh but would virus scan first. If a refresh or clean install doesn’t solve it then it could be a hardware issue (faulty key press eg).

Run malwarebytes and a general av program as well.

I think you need to see exactly what you are doing and what keys you are pressing when it happens. I agree with the others full malware and av scan first. maybe an in place repair or sfc/DISM before doing anything more complicated

I've already done a full virus scan. . . And it only does this stuff when I click the left mouse button.

Ok. Have you ran the troubleshooters? or tried sfc/DISM?

ran the troubleshooters, but not the DISM. I'm thinking it's Edge, cuz it's not doing it in Chrome or Firefox

Well at least we know it is edge if the other browsers are fine. I never use Edge myself, I use Chrome and Firefox. Maybe a sfc/DISM will find it. are you ok running those

Interesting. Good that it’s ok in Firefox and Chrome.

Just wondering if this is related or helpful?

whenever I click (single click) on a video, it makes it full screen. . . . .. Is there a such thing as a calibration issue? Maybe my mouse/monitors aren't seeing eye to eye
