Did you rule out the chair and static? Because that what was causing just one monitor to go off with others in that article. It thought the fact you had the exact same Ikea chair had solved it! Easy test would be just take the chair out of the room for a while and sit on a bog standard kitchen chair or something for a day and see if it stops.
Is it something you could just live with? I am currently having to live with an annoying foible in the way my email auto suggest keeps suggesting a faulty email address! I've lived with it for four years - tried to sort it - just accepted it as it is now!
