I have StartAllBack v3.6.4 installed and I have 'Use enhanced classic start menu' enabled (see photo). This shows the menu with a list on the left-hand side (see photo). In my case the list begins with 'Paint' underneath "HP Support Assistant" but what is this list? It seems to be a list of anything that I may have opened at some time or other but can't be 'Recent items' because I can't remember using Notepad or Windows Media Player Legacy.

I know I can disable 'Use enhanced classic start menu' but this makes it like the standard Windows 11 Start menu and I do not want that. I just want the list on left to disappear to achieve a cleaner, less cluttered, Start Menu so how do I stop this list appearing please?

I believe you must turn off Show most used apps in Settings, then right click the desired item in the list and choose Remove from this list.

The top 2 items in your list, above the faint line, are the items that are pinned..., you can do that also, from the right click menu, then drag them to order, and that will be your permanent layout.

@Edwin - Thanks but that does not fix it. I already have that set to Off. See photo.

I think it must be a StartAllBack limitation because I am using the SAB 'Use enhanced classic start menu' option. It would be good if there was an option within SAB to turn off 'Show most used apps' within the "enhanced classic start menu" in order to leave the left hand side clear underneath the pinned items.

I wonder if the SAB developer reads this forum? I have looked to see how to give feedback but can't see how to do that. Here's hoping that he/she does see this and take note.
