Steam Beta broken?

Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (RP channel)
I run Steam Beta, and after a restart yesterday it did the usual check for updates and installed a new version.

After this, Steam fails to work at all. The only way to fix it was to re-install Steam and not select Beta updates

Which is a good practice in my opinion, Brian. I think the error is in the word, BETA.
I’m guessing they have to tweak their software to catch up to 24H2?

I've been using 24H2 for months and Steam Beta for years.

Steam Beta works fine for me. I'm on latest Windows 11 official. Must be something in 24H2 that breaks things...

Well this morning Steam got a non-beta update, and now it's completely broken. Whatever was stopping Beta from running has made it into the release version, and now I can't use it AT ALL.

Steam were very unhelpful when I raised the problem with them. Basically said there's nothing we can do.
