How can one be miserable whatever the weather when there are views like this to be had "away from the madding crowd"

I'll bet you don't see this in NYC or in Alabama. !!

Well actually, being from NYC (Brooklyn), I've been blessed to have seen the northern lights (aurora borealis) in Anchorage Alaska, your home country of Iceland (Reykjavík) and Newfoundland.

And yes, I've been to a few of Iceland's waterfalls as well. Also been to the Blue Lagoon. Been to Keflavík NAS a few times ;-)
