Hi.

Is there any software to recognize the Realtek ALC xxx audio codec?

It is not specified for the motherboard. And so that you don't have to search for a long time on the Internet.

Thanks.

Edit: If I use the SPDIF Toslink Optical output, does the Realtek ALC xxx audio codec not matter? Is the AV receiver connected and does it decode the signal? Passthrough?

You're right, your motherboard manual does not specify what Realtek audio codec it uses. You should just download it from the ASUS support site for your motherboard.

Thanks for the reply.

I have this motherboard: TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4 | Motherboards -ASUS - Tech Specs

Searching on the Internet, I found out that it probably has a Realtek ALC897 (7.1) audio codec. It is so?

I'm just wondering if there is a SW utility to make it easier to find out.

And the second part of the question?
