Solved swapfile.sys not moving with pagefile.sys

I have moved the paging file to another drive however the swapfile.sys is not following it.
How do I move the swapfile.sys to another drive?

You have to use a symbolic link.
After disabling all page files, restart system.
Then from command line:

mklink C:\swapfile.sys <yournewdrive:\>swapfile.sys

You are not going to gain much though as the swap file is usually kept small.Screenshot 2024-08-03 201208.png
