Solved Swaping SSDs (Hardware swap)


If I Remember Correctly, when I booted the working laptop with the SSD from the dead laptop I chose Repair / Troubleshoot / Advanced Options and then I got this:

This is the right place to change the UEFI setting to AHCI, correct?

SUCCESS! As @glasskuter said all I had to do was change RAID to AHCI and the SSD was recognized.

Since the SSD is fine, it must be the motherboard that's dead.
