The poll, not pool, was about Macrium Reflect, not Macrium Reflect free. I don't know why you are so angry. Why not write your own poll to include Macrium Reflect X and Keeper and all the others you favour? But please stop bashing me, it's against the spirit of this forum.

Indeed, it's poll not pool - that's the only thing you got right. You're nitpicking at this point - desperately trying to be right about something (like a misspelled word - anything would do :). And also projecting (a psychological defense mechanism where individuals unconsciously attribute their own unacceptable feelings, insecurities, or undesirable traits onto another person). Like, assuming that i'm angry. :) Why would i be angry/mad - while pointing out factual data - which can be rather helpful/important? :) You're the one who replies with...

Well, start your own poll if you feel that way. All you'll get is moans and grumbles.

Getting visibly irritated by facts: - which dismantles your secondary recommendation based on an outdated poll:

That pool/selection is from Feb 13, 2022. Which makes it rather irrelevant/outdated by now.

Where the favorite product "from that time" - had an ongoing (maintained/updated) - Free Version (and THAT is what made Macrium Reflect that popular - since the Free version could compete with paid back-up alternatives - based on the free features it had to offer).

Side Note: One can use caps on a word "to point out a detail as being highly relevant" - without feeling any anger. :) Check mu posts again - they're all filed with factual/verifiable data meant as a counter-argument - to your statements about that poll and most voted product (again, from 2022).

While even the paid version - had a different marketing policy back then - being sold as a full product, not rented through a subscription model like now - where you basically have to pay for future updates. Rather relevant, taking into account that Windows 11 keeps changing with upcoming updates - and eventually an update for Macrium might be necessary for the sake of compatibility (if not security as well). So hey, if you have something to add - stick to the topic at hand and the products involved in the discussions. I don't care about your projections and personal attacks (calling me this or that) - that's not useful/helpful to anyone.

No issue with counter-arguments, like the part where you think it's the paid version they favored - which i disagree with based on my experience with IT forums - elevenforum included. It's why i'm sure - that poll doesn't stand today - because Macrium is not a top solid recommendation anymore. Hasleo on the other hand - it's still a decent back-up choice (for home users), despite also offering multiple commercial versions - more recently. Basically, joining the other Back-up tools and their business model - where the free version is limited compared to commercial versions.

Personally i prefer Rescuezilla but can't recommended to anyone - unless i know their level of expertise. Recommending Hasleo - proved to be a mistake (cause of a feature - which made it possible/easy to detele the data of a partition), more of a user error - but that reflected back on me for recommending it. So, maybe Multidrive - but don't have enough experience with it. Tho, am familiar with Macrium's history - and that's something i could add (since that part was left-out - yet highly relevant).

Dude, the link was to a poll with voting results, along with many pages of discussion. kelper thought it might be of some use. If you don’t find it so, then ignore it and move on.
