System shutting down

Hi
I normally leave my computer on all night
When i go back in the morning its turned off is there a area where I can see what caused this
when I restart Dell checks system then says cant repair but has option to continue and now all is working fine?

Hey T2T, Has this happened only once or every time you leave the system asleep and come back to it?
If more than once, We need ALL the information shown on recovery screen. There should be an error code.

I suggest you make sure you have all the latest Dell Drivers and current bios. I also suggest you use Dell Command Update app to handle this task.

If it happened only once I would not worry about it. If it happens regularly, you would need to use these instructions to gather the necessary logfiles,
out them all into a folder, zip the folder, then upload the zipped folder to any cloud provider.

Perhaps a failed hibernate session. What are your Advanced Power Settings set to?

Hey T2T,
Open control panel, In upper right corner beside "view by" click the little arrow and select "small icons" Then you should see "Power Options"
so you can do what @Edwin said.

Are you using a download manager? Some of them have settings to power down the system after downloads have finished.
