@Turtleman With 1st clock, does it work with the Windows 11 taskbar?
Sadly no it does not. Apparently nothing 3rd party works in the Windows 11 taskbar. Now I am on a hunt to find something else. My best option so far is an older Stardock program, Object Dock. The clock face docklet does have a second hand so I am using that for now

@Turtleman I think I will wait until it's confirmed, even the trial version shouldn't revert back to default otherwise it's hard to trial it properly. From the website it looked like it had a very limited number of fonts

I downloaded this but really don't want to pay $10 for it unless I know it'll work like I want it to. The free version can't be positioned or resized where I want to try it

OK, I found the solution. ElevenClock which is oddly available in the Microsoft store works great! It installed and parked itself right in the system tray, replacing the microsoft provided clock. To do this you just have to click the checkbox to use on primary screen in the settings. The trick to avoid blurring from ElevenClock sitting on top of the system tray clock is selecting a custom background in the settings, I just put mine to black.

EDITED TO ADD: I noticed that when there is a WIndows notification you can see the date from the Windows clock poking out of the left side underneath ElevenClock which makes it clickable to open the notification's. Pretty cool!

Sorry for the full size photo attachment. I tried a couple of times to crop it to show just the taskbar. The clock in the corner of the system tray is ElevenClock with seconds, date and day all enabled.

Yep, I found that version after I installed ElevenClock which is working great for my needs. There is another app in the Microsoft store with the same name which costs $9.99 to unlock all features, or there is an option for recurring billing subscription.

For people wanting to use this on their primary monitor, there are a few issues with it as it sits on top of the existing Windows 11 clock.

With a bit of tweaking, I have managed to get ElevenClock to look OK on a single monitor setup.

I had a look at the Windows Store version, but it is probably the same functionality.

In case it hasn't been mentioned here (and if it has, sorry to act senile), I can highly recommend this up-to-date TClock fork:

Tclock-Win10

Unlike many earlier TClock-type system-tray clocks, it works great with Win 10 and 11, multiple displays, resolution changes (e.g. switching from one display to another), and other newer Win aspects. And it has loads of options, including the ability to include various real-time system stats either in the clock itself, or in a comprehensive tooltip pop-up. It's a geek dream... Hope you like it as much as I do.

BTW, though it's developed in Japan, you can easily change its menu/settings language to English: Right-click the clock > point to Language > click English

One more tip: Like previous TClocks, you specify your clock's data format (time, date, etc.) with a text string. The default string includes most of the available options—so don't be overwhelmed when the clock's display initially has all kinds of details you probably won't need. Just open Preferences and edit the string down to what you want.

Finally, if you opt for a 12-hour (vs. 24-hour) time display and want to include "am"/"pm", add the tt parameter after the time portion of your string. (It's not in the default string; I had to hunt around a bit for it.) Cheers!

In case anyone's still wondering about this, I've had success with:

TClock Light (program page at Softpedia)

Very customizable, with some cool (optional) geeky features.

Unfortunately, in Windows 11, Microsoft's currently made it very tricky to hide the default system-tray clock. The best you can currently do is hide all but two small date digits (which aren't very noticeable). Here's how to do that. Cheers!

I used to use T-Clock. It was great, but it doesn't work anymore.
The Windows clock and date is so small now.
The crazy thing is that the Taskbar is very high, yet the tray icons only consume about half the height.
It appears that you have to edit the Registry to change the height.
T-Clock works on Windows 11 if you use ExplorerPatcher; it restores the Win 10 taskbar. I looked at the other clock options in this thread, and I still like T-Clock best. I have one PC that is eligible for 11, and I finally pulled the trigger. In my opinion, Win 11 is a downgrade from 10. Still needs more consistency and intuitiveness. I fixed the Taskbar height with Winero.

Yes, it does. It should also work with StartAllBack.

Yes, it does. It should also work with StartAllBack.

After I wrote that I later discovered T-Clock 5.4.1.1 newer fork which works directly on Windows 11 without the need for ExplorerPatcher or other assistance.

It's written for use in Japan, but it has an English setting and works well.

Then a day or so later, Windows Insider Beta Channel, which I'm on, enabled hiding the Windows system tray clock in settings, so you don't have two clocks showing. Hopefully, that setting will stay for normal releases going forward.
