Taskbar: How to prevent individual icons from being joined together?

With Win 10, I used Taskbar Tweaker (TT) to prevent identical icons (for example, Firefox) from being joined together like a train:

With Win 11, TT no longer works.

Does anyone know how to stop identical icons from joining up. I want to be able to arrange icons from left to right in a sequence that matches my workflow.

This may help... I'm guessing Option #2 is what you want. I don't think the never combine is still available in Settings.

This is a thing I've never concerned myself with, so MS may have broken ALL these options, and I wouldn't know about it.

The last two lines in your screenshot might show the options that I need. But these lines don't appear in my dialog.

The last entry that I see in my list is "Show seconds in system tray clock".

I seem to recall that a Dev version of Win 11 allows users to do what I need.

Yeah, I don't have that option in my Settings either.
I think it used to be there, but MS decided I didn't need that setting. :-)

With Fx, do you have the setting "Show tab previews in taskbar" enabled? I think if you enable that it will only show 1 icon in the taskbar and the preview of the current tab you're actually focusing in Firefox.

At least, that is how Firefox on my machine does.

As stated in the tutorial: "Starting with Windows 11 build 23466 (Dev) and build 25915 (Canary)"

I'm sure the tutorial will be updated once that feature reaches the production builds.

That option is now no longer available in the current non-insider build. This is what it looks like now (per my build, show in avatar)....
