From a practical view, do they make heat sinks for CAMM2's? DIMM's may be old-school but there's a lot of surface area for heat sinks to work with.
Looks like a great solution for laptop motherboards.
For desktop motherboards, not so much.
Hard to see how you could get the equivalent of 8 or 16 DIMMs on a motherboard using the CAMM2 approach.

I think you're actually going to see more systems with the DRAM soldered to the motherboard, that's the optimum, and it also costs less. Two factors that will be hard for the makers to ignore!

Yeah, there are traditional-looking ones, and MSI in particular are doing liquid coolers. Maybe others will do that also. Tweaktown had some pictures of the MSI setup.
