I keep an inexpensive shaving brush next to each of my computers. It's perfect for wisking dust and other particulates off monitors and keyboards without concern for leaving a residue or causing damage.

Like minds think alike. I have my grandpa's old brush and use it for the same purpose. I think about him every time I use it. That old banded boar brush is in as good a shape today as when he died. It never sheds a hair. And all for the original price of $1.50 when he bought it.

I use a Shop-Vac with a 2.5" hose. Removes dust, crumbs, the keys, everything.
