"This app can't run on your PC" Error on Windows 11

Inkscape is a vector graphics program and released an update from version 1.4.3 to 1.4.4.
Winget downloaded, ran the installer which removed v1.4.3, installed v1.4.4 with no error messages.
When I launched Inkscape a pop up windows displayed "This app can't run on your PC".
I tried the Windows 11 app comparability trouble shooter and running Inkscape.exe as Administrator same error.

Downloaded the Inkscape 1.4.4 installer from Inkscape, uninstalled Inkscape from Programs and Features rebooted PC and reinstalled Inkscape 1.4.4 using the downloaded installer.
Launched Inkscape and it runs fine.

I was after any ideas on why the Winget install caused the error message and the downloaded installer worked correctly please?

This means the uninstall did not go well, corrupting the new install or download by Winget was already corrupted somehow.

Could you run version 1.4.3 well on your current installation in the first place ?

V1.4.3 was running fine when I used it yesterday.

I have seen a similar Winget failure problem reported with VirtualBox on their Issues GitHub page and the developer's straightforward response was:

"Please note that we do not support installing VirtualBox on Windows through 3rd party installers and/or package managers, as those can have all sorts of side effects."

You could ask on the Inkscape Forum but their answer may well be the same, i.e. Use the standard installation method provided by them or they can't/won't be able to help with any installation issues.

Reliability no issues reported re the Inkscape installs and uninstall today.

Were there any problems reported,not necessarily directly connected to Inkscape ?
If so,then in Terminal[admin],run ---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth ---and when completed,then run---sfc /scannow ---and run it until a clean report is given.

Reliability no reported problems.
I ran dism and sfc both gave a clean report.
