Install Windows 11 v25H2 on an unsupported pc hardware avoiding error message "This pc can't run Windows 11".

okay sorry for the noob sort of question....I downloaded the windows 11 iso from microsoft, created a bootable usb using Rufus that gave me options to bypass TPM 2.0. create a local account and a bunch of other options. Can I use this to upgrade or am I using one of the things above?

Wow, that was an amazingly convoluted way to do what I can do from scratch in 5 minutes max.
Can you give me an idea on how to this? I have my daughters old Dell 5400 Laptop that I want to upgrade to W11. I created a bootable usb using Rufus and checked off the boxes to bypass TPM 2.0 and what have you but wasn't sure if it was good to to upgrade to W11 or was there something else I needed to do?

@sparker01915:

By enabling the "Remove requirement for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot and TPM 2.0" option in Rufus, you can bypass Windows 11 system requirements when installing from a Rufus-created USB stick, for both in-place upgrades and clean installs.

FlyOOBE method:

Uses Windows Server variant of setup → skips TPM, Secure Boot, CPU checks
Still installs normal Windows 11
ISO download/mount handled automatically (via Fido script)
Matches Microsoft’s own documented workaround for upgrading unsupported devices (source)
