Did a restart, and I'm in.
I had that a few times as well. With Firefox (never use Chrome). I suppose it's a hick-up of either Google (Drive or Gmail or whatever you are signed in) or your browser.
Seems to me nothing to worry about.

More than likely you had a chrome update and hadn't restarted chrome OR it was just a momentary glitch that a restart fixed. I wouldn't worry about it. Glitches do happen and they have nothing to do with any infection or outside influence.
