Time To Personalize Windows 11

Oh, it installed all right. And then all heck broke loose. Fences kept throwing a message saying it needed to be reenabled, windows were blinking left and right, and Explorer kept restarting. Not a fun experience at all. I had to uninstall it. I installed whichever version they have for download now.
Yikes!!!
I've had some pretty weird stuff happen in the past, needs lots of reboots!
If you ever try again, go to Stardock and get the Purge WindowBlinds Tool.

There are some options for apps that may have terrible frame bleed through..., you gotta play around with them...

Couldn't even get that far. Once I hit "apply" to one of the basic skins, it was on. Meaning nothing worked.

Many times. And each time, the same fiasco occurred. I have to go pick up some groceries now, but I'll look into it when I get back. Maybe I picked the wrong one.

Well, I installed it again after disabling TranslucentTB and restarting. Then I restarted again. Then, I fired up WindowBlinds 10.69. It worked until I opened up Explorer, and then all heck broke loose again. I uninstalled it again.

I figure I'll go with Stardock's massage in Object Desktop indicating that WindowBlinds is incompatible with Windows 11. I'll wait until they release the Windows 11 version. I read on Stardock's forums that it should be this year. Only 10.75 months or so left in this year, so it'll be here before I know it!

I have not. The images on Stardock don't really provide a good visual description of what things look like when you use Groupy. How do you like it? Or have you tried it yet?

Just tried it. It's a keeper! I will appreciate it, I think. Thanks!

I've been foolin around with it, as an alternative to Sets, ever since MS chickened out on it!
Great concept but kinda buggy in a weird way! Just wondered if you had experience with it.
It simply drives me nuts when Windows opens another instance of an app 25-30 pixels up and over, some times off the screen!!! :cautious:

I do a lot of work designing and preparing presentations for local livestreams, sometimes up to 8 per week!
Most of it is done within PowerPoint, Publisher and Word..., this concept is great for swapping slides and elements back and forth quickly! (y)

I like the fact that you can group or not group. I was thinking it only grouped like applications, but your image is more explanatory than Stardock's. Thanks for asking me about it. As I mentioned, it's something I'm sure I'll use.

Probably best, unless you've got a machine that you can wipe clean every time.

I am always Impressed by the things you say and have used a lot of your suggestions Thank's

You're welcome and, thank you! I'm flattered!
I don't always do things properly and, I don't know every friggin thing but, if I come across a solution that is desirable and has a greater chance of success, I do like to share it!
