Tired of Google Chrome and YouTube making me sign in every time I want to use it

I don't like to stay logged into to Google all the time but in the last few weeks or so if I wnat to search for something or watch a YouTube video it asks me to sign in. Is there a way to stop this?

If I log out of Google, logging back in is fast and automatic using my password manager.

I'm not sure why/what's happening here. I can use Google Chrome and Youtube with or without signing in, never prompted

Any extensions/addons installed?

Try clearing Chrome browsing data (Settings > Delete browsing data > Advanced > All time > tick everything?

Try clearing all Google settings back to default? (Not always effective, even the reset windows says "Reset some Chrome settings ...etc")

Try uninstalling Google Chrome (use RevoUninstaller (freeware version), including the advanced option to remove all leftover files, folders and registry entries otherwise the uninstall process will be superficial and the possible (mis)settings causing the problem will only be picked up again by the newly installed version). Then re-install.
