Hi all,

When I try to

- log in to outlook.com
- create a new outlook email address
- log in to OneDrive web

After I enter my password, I get the error - Too Many Requests.

I have no idea what is going on. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I can’t say for certain that it is a server issue, but waiting a few hours or more could solve it if it is.
Alternatively, if you use a proxy, disable it and try again.

Some folks have had success logging in through another device (like a phone) that routes through another IP/network. That is, use your Cell Data to login, not your WiFi.

From the posts I've seen, it looks like MS is blocking IP's for excessive logins... even though there have not been (at least not known to the user that owns the account/IP). I suppose it's possible that some Windows update is generating the excessive logins.

You might try changing your IP address if that's possible to do with your ISP. Some of them make it very difficult though.

MS emails Too Many Requests

I have four MS emails and all of a sudden for the last two days I get "too many requests"when I try to log in. I have cleared my cach and even made a new ms email that only worked three times. Now it says too many requests. I have tried all things that ms says but I am in a circle as everything...
