yeah, unless you have it enabled in the BIOS / UEFI FW (for fTPM) or have the physical module, that error is basically saying Device unavailable.

@johnlgalt , so what are you saying? I am not following. Do you think you could help me pass the compatibility test? My Laptop is less than a year old, so I find it silly that it isn't supported for Windows 11. My HP desktop came with Windows 10. I just think it's silly that Microsoft is letting those with PC's that weren't upgraded to Windows 10 not be eligible for Windows 11.

You have to find out if your machine supports fTPM (aka PTT for Intel machines) and enable it. And it may take some doing, as you may need to enable something else before you can find it even listed in the UEFI FW Settings to begin with.

But your processor will also have to match the list, or else you'll have to find a work around to get it installed.

As for why they are doing it - see this:

Basically, since that error code came back, you more than likely don't have a physical TPM module - so your best bet is going to be trying to figure out if your machine has fTPM / PTT, and then figuring out how to enable it.

Someone with a HP device like yours can probably help the best, as I don't ahve an HP laptop at all. Have you checked the HP forums , I'm sure there are lots of users with the same issue, and someone there may have figured out the soution, if there is one for your laptop....

In TF weren't there multiple threads where you were able to run the log collectors?
Were these on the same or different computers?

Please run each V2 and DM > post share links using one drive, drop box, or google drive

I will try to share from OneDrive. But the computer I am working on now that the log collector isn't working on, is my HP 550-153w desktop. The Laptop is the HP 255 G7. I have both of them synced to OneDrive. I am wondering if that would cause the issue with them not uploading to the thread?

Computer models have different BIOS.

Please find a camera or smartphone camera to take pictures then upload images or post share links into this thread.

Plan to take pictures of the BIOS.

Comment in the thread if they are available options.
