Windows 11 version 26200
EDIT: not solved but not for this forum! I realize that Windows has NOTHING to do with this, as I am attempting to boot OTHER OSs with my USB, etc. Ignore this post, heh.
I mean like nothing. Acronis Image CD hangs with mouse and keyboard unlit, Acronis Image on USB (GPT via Rufus) hangs, rescuezilla USB hangs, cloned NVME Win 11 in thunderbolt enclosure gives "Windows Restart" error, just nothing works. Fooled with Secure boot. Funny thing is that it worked when I first installed the mobo so I could clone the Lexar NVME to the Samsung NVME in two separate NVME ports on the mobo. Tried three different USB sticks, all plugged into the backplate of the mobo, and then the NVME enclosure. All of these were recognized by the BIOS boot manager, but none got through the boot process. WTH?

I have an X570 ASUS board (AMD). For some reason, my system likes CSM "enabled".
Something to try at least.

It would also help to know exactly what Win 11 build you are on.
Type: winver in the Taskbar search box.

Did a BIOS update with no luck. One difference between when I first booted up and earlier today was a BIOS update.

K, Clonezilla worked by choosing the VGA option. Might be a graphics driver issue. Updating NVidia driver for RTX 4090 card. Another difference from my first boot up of the mobo.

Boot into Setup (Bios) go to the Boot tab. If the Bios HDD Mode is setup for UEFI Boot, if the booting media is initialized GPT, if not, then add CSM/Legacy Boot (for MBR).Either way it won't hurt.

All my USB sticks and the 4TB NVME enclosure are recognized as boot devices. They just won't run, heh. I got a couple of things to run now. The newer ASUS boards have an issue with this, hopefully it will be fixed via a BIOS update 🤞Updated my computer specs, so folks know what board I am having issues with, but most ASUS Z890 mobos have this problem.
