Can anyone figure out what's wrong with my answer file? It just wouldn't automatically proceed and always shows me the partitions screen, ironically with the disk correctly partitioned. I just don't understand why is it getting stuck at this point.
I should probably point out I am testing this in Virtualbox in case it matters.

I've been using the same answer file for years, only I keep changing some bits here and there, but anytime I go back to it, something simply doesn't work. It's been a long time since I installed anything and here we go again... lol.

There's no answer file attached...

When using VirtualBox, make sure you unchecked the "Unattended Install" feature when creating a VM. VirtualBox wants to help you by mounting a temporary floppy drive with its own unattended file. This may block whatever file you provided, because the search order for answer files jumps to VirtualBox's copy on the floppy before it finds your file.

Ugh, damn forum didn't upload it then :(

But I have managed to figure it out :D It turned out Microsoft in their infinite stupidity made <Extend>true</Extend> found under <ModifyPartition> not work with GPT disks. Or at least that's what they claim. The bizarre thing about it is it does work, but the disks setup screen is shown. Typical Microsoft.

<Extend>true</Extend> is only valid for <CreatePartitions>, and not for <ModifyPartitions>.

there is always some unused space, especially with the old hard drives, because of format sizing. Unless it is a significant amount, it's no big deal, How much was wasted?
