Hi.
I have two Logitech devices : the mouse M220 & the gamepad F710.
At both i had problem at installation.

M220 works OK at 3 USB ports of my laptop (Pavilion cd2205nw) and at the USB port of my base/cooler. The only problem with M220 is when i put the receiver at any of the 3 laptop's USB ports , then i take an error message. This error apperars only when put the receiver for the first time , and only at laptop's USB's. So it works fine with all USB base's or not , the difference is the error message. I have it to base now , as i understand it works better there & without error message.

Gamepad F710 : I couldn't install it in any way. I spoke via chat with Logitech support. We tried some solutions and that didn't work. Then they told me that the receiver probably has a problem and that I could return the product since it is under warranty. Then I started looking for a solution on the internet before returning the product.
I found this and then gamedpad works fine. The only thing I did not do from this solution was to load the .reg file , since before I had time to load it the device was working properly.

So now both devices work fine. But when i go to device manager (with "show hidden devices" option checked) , i see unknown devices :

Any ideas how to fix that ? Thanks.

Yeah, per Logitech's suggestion....

Return it. It's been my experience once these receivers go you aren't going to fix it.

Good luck.
