Unwanted "all apps" listing

I have a listing in "all apps" "AMD Control Centre". I do not have AMD on my PC . I do not know how it is listed . I have tried various ways found on the net to get rid of this entry but all to no avail. I have searched the registry for any indication but again no result.
There must be somewhere where this data entry is stored but I cannot find it.
Does anyone know of any way I can get rid of this entry-short of total re-install of windows (not even sure that would work)?

Just placing HP Laptop in the specs of your profile isn’t actually enough.
Take a look underneath the laptop and put the exact model HP laptop that it is in your specs

Also, is your setup “out of the box” or have you clean installed Windows 11 on your laptop? I’m guessing “Out of the box” (as bought)

My Pc has an I7 processor and I don't know the what "graphics" card it has. The PC is an HP 15s-fq4010na. I purchased it 18months ago

If you wanted to, you could run the following (Personally I’d just leave it alone)
Having said that, I am not sure why it’s installed?

  • Run it in Safe Mode for best results (it will prompt you).
  • Let it remove all AMD-related software.
  • Restart your system after it finishes.

Right click the icon > uninstall.

What you should have is "Intel® Graphics command centre".

It might be one of those spurious/rogue ones, via the MS Store. In which case it might reappear until it is fixed.
I once had an HP Smart App one for a while, no HP printer, eventually it went away after several months.

Update to thread- Thanks for all your help but I have solved the problem by doing an "in place upgrade" using windows recovery . I selected "keep files and apps" and let it run . After it had finished the listing was gone, and has not been seen since .
