Upgrading Windows 11 Pro from 22H2 to 24H2.

I took gamble and bought my wife the laptop below from Amazon. The price point is great for her needs. Even though the specs state it's a 2025 model it came with Windows 11 Pro 22H2. I ran Windows Update but it doesn't grab 24H2. Is it just a waiting game or is there another option to get 24H2. As you might know 22H2 is unsupported.

You need 23H2 first - to be able to upgrade to 24H2 (an "upgrade" doesn't skip major versions). So force Windows updates to see only 23H2 updates - with Group policy editor:

Win Key + R and type (or copy paste) gpedit.msc

And follow the Arrows - but first where it says 24H2 ...

- put 23H2 (cause you need this one first), then check Windows Updates. And after upgrading to 23H2, you use above steps again - but now add 24H2.

Oh yeah, forgot about this. Should be faster this way.

And only after you force 24H2.

Currently upgrading to 23H2 thanks to your reply. Will try 24H2 after 23H2 fully installs. Let you know how I make out.

I started the original suggestion before the enablement option was posted. Yeah, it's slow but I'm in no hurry. Is it unusual for a current PC model to come with 22H2?

Not necessarily. It all depends on when they built the computer.
It may have been sitting on the shelf for a year or so.
