As stated, this a Crucial issue. The USB Controller inside the enclosure was supposed to be used with a standard HDD but they used it on an SSD and it Identifies as a HDD.
The device has to be sent back to Crucial to be replaced with the proper USB Controller, unless Crucial has a Firmware Update for their enclosure, which they probably won't have and may even deny you a replacement, but you have to try with them, you have done everything you can do on your own.
