Almost unbelievable.
Firefox checks sites (via Google lists). Dns service (Cloudflare) also checks something.
uBlock too (I disabled it and use my own rules only).
In addition, certificates are always checked.
There's no need to confuse security with paranoia.

Hackers are able to bypass 2FA, even when the users logs out and changes the password, so paranoia is needed.
I have blocked all TLDs in the world except 10, that alone blocks like 80% malware + blocking port 80, thus 99%.

MS keeps trying to keep it alive, so it is like playing cat and mouse with MS, but it works fine on the stable version.
