Using Remote Desktop Connection

I used to be able to save my password and simply connect the app to log onto the other PCs remotely. I now get this message and have to enter the password - any idea how to make it save the password and avoid this annoyance?

Do a search for Credentials Manager or get there thru Control Panel.
On the windows credentials pane, checkout the ones you use to connect to the system(s)
within your network. Recreate those credentials that connect to the other machines.
You mustn't use the pin password but the actual local password.

@OAT thanks for the suggestion which I tried, unfortunately the situation was t changed

I note you say to use the local password and not the PIN, I use a Microsoft account (but not with a PIN) - could this be the issue? If this is related is ther a way to use the MS account, and save the password without getting this error message?
