Vanishing 10 bit colour

Have discovered that the ports on my LGE6 are limited to HDMI 2.0 so this is why 4KRGB 60 Hz is not possible. If anyone can tell me how to get the HDR auto switching working with YCBCR that would be wonderful!

If you only watch movies on your TV and don't surf the internet or work, you could manually set the specific HDMI input to always have HDR enabled. My current TV doesn't support HDR, so I cannot tell you more details of how to do it. See the advanced image settings. Also you should be able to configure VLC or whatever you use to automatically enable HDR, but again I have no clue how to do it. If you use MPC-HC or similar, I remember you can configure MadVR or EVR to enable HDR or convert it to SDR.
