Hi, does Vivetool have any functionality in non-insider builds? Could it be useful in public builds? I'd try myself but I'd like to know if installing Vivetool on a public build would brake something. Thanks :)

Always create an image before using it, so you have something to go back to if it goes wrong and yes it can be used for a host of things

I do agree with you on restore points, I think they currently take quite a bit of my storage by how many I make lol.

If you are not familiar with with Macrium, IMO it is the best for creating and restoring an image
