My computer has an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 730 (128MB) graphics card. What settings should I choose for hardware decoding acceleration in VLC media player? Automatic, Direct3D11 acceleration, DirectX DXVA 2.0 acceleration, or Disabled?

My friend has a computer with an NVIDIA Ge Force RTX 4060 graphics card and should he set VLC Media Player to Automatic, Direct3D11 acceleration, DirectX DXVA 2.0 acceleration, or Disabled? I'll pass this information on to him.

You don't need to change anything to make VLC play media also does the GPU support such a settings.

To enable or disable GPU hardware-accelerated decoding in VLC Media Player, you can change the setting in the application's preferences.
