Today September 03, 2026 Broadcom has released VMware Workstation Pro 26H1u1. It can be downloaded from the wonderfully user friendly Broadcom website
VMware Workstation Pro 26H1u1 contains security and bug fixes.
* The Capsule PK Update driver triggering the PK update is introduced in VMware Tools 13.1.5 for most Windows versions. Before upgrading to VMware Tools 13.1.5 or later, to allow the installation of the PK update driver, you must install the July 2026 or a later update Windows Cumulative Update on the guest OS.
When on your host operating system, you right-click the VMware Workstation system notification icon, the context menu displays English text on French and Spanish operating systems. This issue is fixed in this release.
When a guest operating system disables its monitors, VMware Workstation cannot grab input.
When a guest operating system disables all monitors, for example, in response to a power management event, VMware Workstation sometimes blocks users from grabbing input to wake the guest. This issue is fixed in this release.
With hardware acceleration enabled, the virtual machine UI shrinks to the upper-left corner of the console.
After you switch in between the Hometab and the My Computertab of powered-on virtual machines, the VM UI shrinks to the size of a thumbnail in the upper-left corner of the console. This issue occurs when the Allow Hardware Acceleration for all virtual machinescheck box is selected in Preferences -> Display. This issue is fixed in this release.
