In Windows 11 24H2 when I go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, scroll down to "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" under Additional settings. When I try to change this from "15 minutes" to "Never", I receive the prompt to enter the password. The problem is that I cannot type the password, and the Windows Security window locks up where I have to end task on the process. I use a local account in Windows 11 Pro 24H2 on all my systems and all systems are experiencing the same problem. Never had this problem until recently.

Unfortunately, same problem.

I find it strange that this problem started after I reloaded Windows 11 24H2 on the systems and fully updated them. I use local accounts only.

I know these commands are good from that I just re-installed these systems. I do run these commands regularly.

I found that running netplwiz command again, re-applying the user password to the security prompt corrected this problem for now. I tried this before and it would not auto login and set the "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" option to Never. Never is set now.
