Windows 11
Im on the Devs channel, I had a problem about 8 months ago, in that I couldnt get w11 to update ... I posted on the Windows insider channel forum my problem and all of a sudden I had an update to 23403.1001 which went fine. Since then Ive not had an update of any sort, presumably because 23403 is well ahead of what I should have on the Devs channel.

Ive tried to force the issue and downloaded 23493.1001 , however everything works great until I restart windows, and I get the Blue Screen and W11 doesnt start.
Good job I imaged my drive first!! So tried a repair install which seemed to work until I restarted and again - Blue Screen and failure again.

Is there anything else I can try or should I reinstall W11 from scratch, I am on a digital licence for W11 home.

Where did you download 23493 from? UUPDump? If you are signed up as an Insider you can download a DEV ISO from Microsoft, I believe currently the latest DEV ISO from MS is for build 23481.1000. See Option Three here:

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.
