I used to click extreme right side of my taskbar to get home screen. Now, no dice. Thoughts?

Have you tried going to taskbar settings and enabling the Select the far corner of the taskbar setting?

The only way I know how is to install StartAllBack but, it's a pay for app that costs 5 bucks

That's exactly what the others have been telling you how to do.
Perhaps the confusion has arisen because they have used the correct term Desktop instead of what you called the Homescreen.

If you right click on the Taskbar you should see an option to show the desktop (home screen).
