Here are the steps:
EDITED : Disable bitlocker or drive encryption VERY IMPORTANT
Enable or Disable BitLocker to Unlock OS drive at Startup with PIN and USB in Windows 11
  1. Click the Start Button and type cmd
  2. Right-click the result and select Run as administrator
  3. Type this command and press ENTER: bcdedit /set {current} safeboot minimal (ALT METHOD: bcdedit /set safeboot minimal)
  4. Restart the computer and enter BIOS Setup
  5. Change the SATA Operation mode to AHCI from RAID (or VMD dependent on your bios)
  6. Save changes and exit Setup and Windows will automatically boot to Safe Mode.
  7. Right-click the Windows Start Menu once more. Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
  8. Type this command and press ENTER:bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot (ALT METHOD: [B]bcdedit /deletevalue safeboot
  9. Reboot once more and Windows will automatically start with AHCI drivers enabled. You can then enable bitlocker again if you wish.

If you actually have more than one disk configured into a raid array (in BIOS) and you switch to AHCI, you would indeed break the raid set and loose your data.

Since you only have one drive listed in your system, I assume that is correct and you don't actually have a RAIDed volume (2+ drives). In this case you don't need the RAID drivers (Intel VMD) and you can go into the BIOS and disable Intel VMD storage and reboot. This will boot your disk as AHCI (actually native windows SCSI/nvme drivers).

I forgot to say BE SURE to disable bitlocker before changing disk mode. I have altered my previous instructions to add it. This is very important.
