Hi.

Windows 11 laptop. 3 years old.

I'm getting this error daily in 'Computer Management'.

I've counted about 200 times yesterday.

Code:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port

Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1D:0x6

Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0

Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06B6&SUBSYS_50D51558&REV_F0

Secondary Device Name:

Occasionally, when my screen turns off after inactivity, the fans ramp up to max and I can't 'wake' the machine again. I have to restart.

Or, when I put down the lid of the laptop for it to sleep, again the fans go to the max and it crashes. Only option is a reboot.

I wonder if the above is related?

Hi,

Open Device manager and navigate to the PCI Express Port from the screenshot and then click connected devices. Then you will see what device is connected to the port. It's probably a driver related and you may need to downgrade the driver and check if the errors continue to appear.

Ethernet and card reader. Thanks. I've disabled both for now and will keep an eye.
