Solved Was the ribbon issue in File Explorer ever resolved or at least acknowledged by Microsoft?

I have noticed this as well and am contemplating filing feedback on this through the Feedback Hub.

Honestly, if I were you, I would just file the feedback, straight up. No need to "contemplate." Microsoft needs to fix this.

Update:

So I went to Best Buy and I was able to see that this issue does exist on other PCs (including Copilot PCs). However, I did notice it didn't exist on certain PCs that had faster CPUs. It was a hit and miss thing for the PCs I tried. Some didn't have the issue at all (I suspect it was because they were faster and had NVIDIA cards), while others had it, but were either less prominent or equally problematic.

Just a "FYI" to everyone ...

open your start menu, type Performance Options and open that. choose to let windows decide. see if that helps any. you can also Adjust for best performance, but that will take away a lot of appearance stuff... but you can go back and check some one by one until you find what you like visually and is responsive enough. there are only 17 checkboxes, so wont take too long to get it sorted.

The 3-dot pop-up thing didn't change on any of my computers using the Recommended Resolution setting with "Let Windows choose" except when setting for 100% Scaling but that makes things too small. The "Adjust for best performance" works to get the pop-down menu on the Recommended Resolution with 150% or 175% scaling on my Notebooks, all updated on Wednesday.
