Ok Im trying to download from sites ive been downloading from for last couple years. Must be the newer versions of Edge. I was able to download files from Uploadrar for instance. Then not to long ago the site keeps going to a popup window saying please disable my adblocker in order to do so. Well, first off I have NO 3rd party adblocker extensions installed, and I have allowed in the site permissions for All things to be allowed such as popups and insecure content etc, All setting inside Edge are set so nothing should be blocked. I even added the site to Edges Whitelist. Still saying turn of my adblocker. I have none. and as I said until recently like a month ago I could download just fine from this site. So what deep seeded Microsoft setting is doing this? I have smartscreen off, however is there a setting in edge:flags possible preventing me downloading from this site. And it happens on many other download sites as well. Im stumped. I wish they would just stop blocking rubbish after their lovely updates and making me search for days on what they changed that does this stuff.

Most browsers these days have built in adblockers.
Ofc, all the browsers have different ways to deal with that. In Firefox for example, there's a shield icon in the left part of the adress bar. For EDGE, I don't know where they would put it.

Things like this are one of the main reasons that I just removed EDGE.

I wish I could be more help, but the only thing I can suggest is to just keep looking at "everything" in the EDGE browser.
Look in every nook and cranny.

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Have you tried using a different browser to see if the same thing happens? It could be a glitch in the website if so. I use firefox. Love it. It just works. I can make it look old fashioned if I want (with menu bars etc and a home button) and I use the built in password manager via an account so can access my bookmarks and passwords on any pc by just signing into the firefox account.
