I'm an old, retired coot. I built this, my first W11 computer, about three months ago. Our den still has a table set up where my last computer (an older Dell desktop) is awaiting installation of an SSD and a fresh W10 install so I can give it away.

I like it with the counter strewn with computer parts because it reminds me I can still build a computer. My wife is getting tired of it, though.

I'm a rank novice, though, so I may ask stupid questions.

I used to go to the PCMech forums for advice. That site seems to have vanished. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Although I had never know of PCMech Forum, I did try a few times to reach it. Consistently getting a Cloudflare Hosting 'Error'. Perhaps it's just some temporary issue, or maybe it no longer exist. ~ 🤷‍♂️ ~ You may try again later, and have better luck.

I've been getting the same or similar response from PCMech for a week or so. Maybe they're gone.

There were some really helpful and patient people there, a guy called GLC in particular. I'm sure I'll find the same here, too. But I'd still like to know what happened.
